Biography

Joël Larouche’s practice is mainly focused on commercial litigation and on insolvency and restructuring. He is frequently involved in injunctions and extraordinary remedies, complex proceedings, shareholders disputes and transactional litigation, as well as in administrative investigations and governance issues. His practice calls him to represent clients in the banking, institutional, technological and construction fields.

Mtre Larouche is known for his availability and his thoroughness, especially in the context of emergency proceedings, as well as his ability to approach each matter in a practical and strategic way.

During his studies, Mtre Larouche distinguished himself by his academic record and social implication. Demonstrating a strong interest for the practice of litigation, he participated in the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition. He is one of the Quebec Bar Foundation’s Governor of the Future.
