Professional experience
Nicolas Saint-Amour joined the firm in 2025 and practices primarily in civil and commercial litigation. He has a particular interest in class actions, bankruptcy, and insolvency. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from HEC Montréal (High Commercial Studies of Montreal).
Prior to joining the firm, Nicolas served as a law clerk at the Quebec Court of Appeal for the Honourable Justice Stephen W. Hamilton. He later acted as commission counsel for the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference, chaired by the Honourable Marie-Josée Hogue.
During his studies, Nicolas worked as a research assistant in constitutional law for Professor Noura Karazivan and contributed to the non-profit organization Option consommateurs. Deeply interested with societal issues, he also served as Editor-in-Chief of Le Pigeon Dissident, the student newspaper of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law, and founded a university debate team.
