Élise joined LCM Avocats in 2025 as a law student. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal in 2026, she will continue her career with the firm as an articling student in 2027. Her practice interests include civil and commercial litigation, white-collar crime, public law, and bankruptcy and insolvency law

Prior to pursuing her law degree, she earned an Honours bachelor’s degree in political science, along with a minor in Philosophy, both from McGill University.

During her legal studies, Élise worked as a research assistant to Professor Stéphane Rousseau on projects conducted in collaboration with the Observatoire des Valeurs Mobilières du Québec. In this role, she contributed to research initiatives focusing, among other topics, on securities disclosure obligations and the role of institutional investors. She was also actively involved with Université de Montréal’s Investor Rights Legal Clinic.

Highly involved in the university legal community, Élise served as a Pro Bono student at the Saint-Michel Legal Clinic and represented Université de Montréal at the Laskin Moot Court Competition. She also won a white-collar crime competition, an interfaculty debate, and a mock trial.

Outside her legal practice, Élise has a strong interest in wine and holds the WSET Level 2 and WSET Level 3 Awards in Wines, with Merit. An avid athlete, she enjoys road and mountain biking, as well as alpine and backcountry skiing.
