Professional experience
Sean Giacobbe joined the firm in 2022 after working as a student and completing his Quebec Bar articling with a Montreal boutique litigation firm. Sean practices in civil and commercial and also has experience in construction law, labour law, and administrative law matters. He is recognized for his pragmatic approach, his legal creativity, and his firm commitment to finding concrete solutions for clients.
Sean studied law at the University of Montréal, during which time he worked as a teaching and research assistant to multiple professors in the areas of defamation law, civil liability, and constitutional law.
An active member of his community, Sean was involved as a volunteer in multiple non-profit organizations offering legal aid in the Greater Montreal area, including the Centre de justice de proximité de Grand Montréal and the Centre de recherche-action sur les relations raciales.

Representation of an aircraft leasing company in obtaining a seizure before judgment of assets in the hands of a third party as well as the issuance of a Norwich-type order in connexion with the recognition of a multimillion-dollar foreign judgment.
