Professional experience
A member of the Bar since 2022, Laurence Asselin joined the firm in March 2024. With varied experience in civil and commercial litigation, employment law and class actions, Laurence has developed a strong interest in shareholder disputes and litigation in the securities sector. She stands out for her thoroughness, proactivity and creativity in finding solutions to clients’; complex legal problems.
Laurence studied law at the Université de Montréal, during which time she worked as a research assistant in the Class Actions Laboratory with Professor Catherine Piché, now at the Superior Court.
An active member of her community, Laurence has been involved in a number of committees, including the Health Law Committee, in addition to participating in several pro bono projects to promote access to justice.
