LCM Attorneys is proud to announce the arrival of Laurence Asselin, Ioana Manea, and Mathieu Lacelle within its team.

Laurence Asselin, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Montreal, has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022. Laurence has developed a diverse practice in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in labor and employment law. She has had the opportunity to plead before the civil courts as well as the Administrative Labour Tribunal.

During her university studies, Laurence received several awards of excellence, in addition to being awarded an admission scholarship.

Ioana Manea, also a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022, specializes in commercial litigation, while also having expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and insurance law.

In addition to her legal practice, Ioana is actively involved in the community as a member of the board of directors of the Montreal Youth Council and the Cuisines collectives du Grand Plateau. Her involvement in organizing symposiums and her academic research work reflect her excellence and leadership, rewarded by several prestigious scholarships throughout her academic journey.

Finally, developing a cutting-edge expertise in insurance law and municipal law since 2016, Mathieu Lacelle joins our team to enhance our civil and commercial litigation department. Mathieu has represented various clients, from public bodies to businesses and professionals such as architects and accountants, thus developing an in-depth expertise in construction law and professional liability.

Moreover, he is highly appreciated by clients for his listening skills, proactivity, professionalism, and rigor, as well as his ability to develop strategies integrating political, financial, and human aspects.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mathieu contributes to the training of the next generations of lawyers by teaching at the Bar School of Quebec.
