Professional experience
Ariane Rondeau practises in civil and commercial litigation as well as in insolvency. She is regularly involved in complex, large-scale insolvency and restructuring matters and is frequently called upon to pursue or contest extraordinary remedies, including interim injunctions, safeguard orders, revendication seizures, and pre-judgment seizures. She also has expertise in unfair competition, shareholder disputes, and directors’ and officers’ liability.
Ariane is known for her ability to advocate with rigour, conviction and eloquence on behalf of her clients. With a keen strategic sense, she develops tailored approaches and innovative solutions aligned with each client’s specific needs. A formidable litigator, she effectively captures the attention of the court and advances persuasive arguments that can be decisive in complex matters.
Ariane completed her articling term with the Honourable Martin Castonguay of the Superior Court of Quebec, where she received distinction for the quality of her work. During her studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, she was actively involved in her community, notably as a member of Pro Bono Students Canada and as a mentor with a non-profit organization dedicated to financial literacy for youth. She also contributed to the development and hosting of a legal education radio program at the university.

Representation of a passenger and cargo airline in a multi-million dollar lawsuit for copyright infringement, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation undertakings, and unfair competition.

Representation of a shareholder in a shareholder dispute. Following the bankruptcy of the company and the co-shareholder, representation of the shareholder who had become a creditor, opposing the release of the bankrupt shareholder.
