Professional experience

Joshua Werber joined the firm in 2022 as a student before completing his articling in 2024-2025. He has been practicing at LCM since March 2025, developing a diversified civil and commercial litigation practice.

Joshua has developed his competency and skills representing clients in contentious matters, particularly in class actions and professional disciplinary cases. Joshua has also been called to review and synthesize evidence for complex corporate and civil matter.

Joshua has completed McGill University’s joint Common Law-Civil Law program, prior to which he also obtained a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, graduating at the top of his class with first class honors.

During his studies, Joshua was an active member of the McGill community, having served two years representing law students on the University Senate, McGill’s highest academic decision-making body. He has also volunteered with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, providing legal information to members of the wider public.

In his free time, Joshua enjoys playing hockey and learning about topics beyond the law, particularly astronomy and physics.
