Professional experience
Mathilde Simard-Zakaïb joined LCM Attorneys in 2021 as an associate after having worked as a student and having completed her Quebec Bar articling with the firm. In the course of her diversified civil and commercial litigation practice, she is often called to work on complex files involving a wide array of legal issues. Mathilde is recognized for her analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp the issues involved in a file. Pragmatic and a skilled listener, she works closely with clients to reach creative and personalized solutions.
Mathilde has a keen interest in contractual and shareholder disputes. She frequently participates in the development of strategies to resolve disputes at an early stage and prolonged litigation.
Committed to community involvement, Mathilde is involved with the Kidney Foundation of Canada’s Comité de la relève, helping to organize various activities to support the Foundation’s mission of research and patient services.
